In Process Quality Control

**JOB DESCRIPTION** (Perform in-process inspections during generator assembly and fabrication to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.)
Monitor and verify key processes including
- Painting - check surface preparation, coating thickness, curing, adhesion, and finish quality.
- Fabrication (Rolling, Laser Cutting, Bending, Machining) - verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface conditions.
- Detect and report in-process defects immediately to production/engineering for corrective action.
- Ensure operators follow approved SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections as required.Maintain inspection records, highlight abnormalities, and escalate issues to the Department Head.
- Support root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement activities to reduce production defects
**Key Responsibilities**
- Required:Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Welding, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Practical experience in assembly line and fabrication quality inspection, preferably in generator, automotive, or heavy equipment industry.Knowledge of welding standards (AWS/ISO), torque control, clamping methods, painting/coating processes, and fabrication quality checks.Skilled in inspection and measurement tools (torque wrenches, gauges, calipers, micrometers, DFT meters, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and GD&T.Strong attention to detail, defect detection, and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems is an added advantage.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
