Draftsman (Automobile)

**Position Title**:
Draftsman - Automobile

**Reports To**:
Service Manager / Project Engineer / Dealer Principal

**Job Purpose**:
To prepare precise technical drawings and layouts for automobile showrooms, service workshops, and related facilities. The role ensures that layouts meet manufacturer standards, operational needs, and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Technical Drawings & Layouts**:

- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings of showrooms, service workshops, parts storage areas, and office layouts.
- Create service bay layouts, equipment positioning, and traffic flow diagrams to optimize efficiency.
- Update and revise drawings according to manufacturer requirements (e.g., JAECOO, Jetour, GWM standards).
- **Project Support**:

- Assist management in planning renovations, expansions, and new dealership facilities.
- Provide technical drawings for submission to authorities, contractors, and manufacturers.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure accurate implementation.
- **Compliance & Standards**:

- Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) corporate identity guidelines.
- Maintain updated records of all dealership facility layouts.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the sales, service, and parts departments to design functional spaces.
- Support aftersales projects, such as workshop equipment installation and facility upgrades.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Certificate / Diploma in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Experience in automotive facility design is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance with OEM standards.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Internship, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
