- Physiotherapy Resident Therapy:
- Provide physiotherapy treatment to all residents, with or without a therapy package.
- Assess and treat patients with a focus on improving mobility, reducing pain and enhancing overall quality of life.
- Activity Management:
- Take charge of daily activities, ensuring they are aligned with residents’ therapeutic.
- Plan and lead group therapy sessions and exercise programs.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and support clinical staff in delivering quality care.
- Work closely with the Clinical and Assistant Manager to address the welfare of residents.
- Resident Assessments:
- Conduct initial assessments for new residents, focusing on fall risk and other health concerns.
- Regularly re-assess residents to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Package Conversion:
- Identify residents who would benefit from therapy packages and successfully convert them to these packages.
- Physiotherapy Resident Therapy:
- Provide physiotherapy treatment to all residents, with or without a therapy package.
- Assess and treat patients with a focus on improving mobility, reducing pain and enhancing overall quality of life.
- Family Communication:
- Provide timely reports to residents’ families through Whatsapp or other apps, keeping them informed of their loved ones’ progress and needs
- Resident Wellbeing:
- Ensure the overall wellbeing of residents by maintaining high standards of care and regular monitoring.
- Annual and Special Activities:
- Contribute to and participate in annual activities and family events, incorporating therapeutic aspects as per FCC’s yearly plan.
- Promotion and Marketing:
- Promote the importance of rehabilitation and physiotherapy to the elderly in a timely manner.
- Market and find clients for home-based physiotherapy services.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the clinical team to identify residents’ needs and determine how physiotherapy can enhance their wellbeing.
- Support the clinical team in delivering comprehensive care
**Requirements**:
- A bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physiotherapist, preferably in a similar nursing / healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical skills and expertise in a range of physiotherapy techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- A compassionate and patient-centred approach to patient care.
- Registration with the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA) or other relevant professional bodies.
Pay: Up to RM4,500.00 per month
