**Internship Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Purchasing Intern** to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the restaurant's supply chain and procurement processes. The intern will assist in sourcing, ordering, and managing inventory to support the daily operations of our kitchen and dining services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in sourcing ingredients, packaging, and supplies from approved vendors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the kitchen team to forecast supply needs.
- Research new suppliers, compare prices, and negotiate for cost-effective solutions.
- Track and document purchases, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues related to orders.
- Maintain purchasing records and assist in preparing reports for management.
- Support sustainability initiatives by identifying eco-friendly sourcing options.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in basic math and data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with purchasing software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for the food and hospitality industry.
