Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Release & Deployment Engineer located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Senior Release & Deployment Engineer will be responsible for managing and coordinating software releases and deployment activities. Daily tasks include developing and maintaining deployment pipelines, ensuring the quality and integrity of releases, troubleshooting deployment issues, working with cross-functional teams to improve processes and automation, and documenting deployment procedures and best practices.

Location: Malaysia (candidates must be willing to relocate)

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong hands-on expertise in automation, DevOps, and release management to support our Credit Origination Applications
across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation (Ansible, Python, scripting) and application deployment using DevOps tools (Bitbucket, Aldon).
  • Manage
    SIT, UAT, and Production deployments
    across geographies.
  • Perform infrastructure-related testing and production environment setup.
  • Support maintenance upgrades, patches, and capacity uplift.
  • Troubleshoot testing environment issues and ensure uptime with automated monitoring scripts.
  • Release management, stakeholder reporting, and Jira workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with teams to resolve SIT/UAT deployment issues.
  • Exposure to containers and environment management is a plus.
  • Prior
    team lead experience
    is preferred.
