KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the full spectrum of finance functions for the Malaysia business, including general ledger, AR/AP, treasury, payroll and taxation.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis, KPI reporting and provide insights to support management decisions.
- Oversee cash flow management, and treasury operations to ensure financial sustainability.
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian statutory, tax, and audit requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and legal advisors.
- Strengthen and maintain internal control frameworks to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
- Lead audit preparation and ensure timely completion of annual audits.
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to maintain accurate stock and inventory control.
- Coordinate with head office on member commission calculations and payments.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous growth.
- Participate in or lead finance-related projects, system enhancements, and business improvement initiatives.
