Job Description:
  • Warmly greet all guests and guide them to their preferred tables.
  • Provide prompt and efficient table service for food and beverages, following standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Accurately take and repeat orders to ensure clarity, and serve items as ordered.
  • Replace cutlery as needed based on the type of dish served, in line with SOP.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of dining areas, including clearing and resetting tables.
  • Polish plates, cutlery, and glassware to ensure cleanliness and presentation.
  • Ensure all items and equipment are properly stored and in their designated places.
  • Prepare mis-en-place at side stations, including ensuring availability of condiments like cut chilies and chopped garlic.
  • Keep the buffet line clean and organized.
  • Immediately clean any dropped food or tissues; dry wet floors and place caution signage when necessary.
  • Maintain all restaurant equipment in good working condition. Promptly report any issues (e.g., breakages, lighting, coffee machine malfunction, door problems, unstable tables) to the supervisor.
  • Assist in setting up function rooms and buffet lines for events.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the food and beverage menu and service flow.
  • Collect clean linens from designated areas and return them to the original location with proper sorting.
  • Complete necessary paperwork (e.g., OT forms, shift change requests, leave applications) within specified deadlines.
  • Adhere strictly to operational SOPs and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain personal grooming standards: neat hair, short fingernails, clean uniform and shoes, and good personal hygiene.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service or the food & beverage industry is preferred.
  • Friendly, polite, and able to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
