• Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Resident Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) to oversee all M&E works at our project site. The role involves monitoring daily site activities, ensuring quality workmanship, and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and authorities to achieve timely and successful project completion.

• Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor all M&E installation works (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, ELV systems, etc.

Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements

Coordinate between consultants, contractors, and other disciplines to resolve site issues

Review M&E shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements

Attend site and coordination meetings, prepare progress reports, and follow up on site issues

Witness testing and commissioning of M&E systems and verify documentation

Assist in final inspections, handover, and defect rectification

• Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)

Minimum 5 years of M&E site supervision experience in building or infrastructure projects

Good knowledge of local authority standards and submission procedures (e.g. Bomba, TNB, ST, SYABAS, DOSH, etc.)

Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills

Able to work independently and manage site matters proactively
