About the role

Join the Front Office team at RC Hotel in the historic city of Melaka as a full-time Hotel Receptionist. In this pivotal role, you will be providing a warm welcome and exceptional service to our guests. With a focus on creating memorable experiences, you will play a vital part in the overall success of our established hospitality business.

What you'll be doing

• Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process
• Respond to guest enquiries and requests promptly and courteously, providing information about the hotel's facilities and local attractions
• Handle guest payments and account management in a professional and accurate manner
• Assist with luggage handling and provide concierge services as needed
• Maintain a high level of customer service and contribute to creating a positive guest experience
• Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and other front desk responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with the wider hotel team to ensure seamless operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Proficient in using hotel management software
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences
• Flexible and adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
