Carry out basic fire alarm and electrical wiring tasks including installation, termination, testing, commissioning, and maintenance in compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations.

  • Endorse testing reports in accordance with the client's required format.
  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of fire alarm and electrical systems.
  • Assist the fire alarm/electrical team during wiring installations and testing & commissioning activities.
  • Ensure all work is performed using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe and proper working condition.
  • Prepare necessary documentation, including installation, testing, and endorsement reports.
  • Support the installation and testing of fire alarm/electrical devices and systems.
  • Ensure all installers work in a safe environment and in compliance with local safety regulations.
  • Provide assistance during emergency responses or facility shutdowns as required.

Requirements:

  • Certified PW2 Competent Electrical Wireman by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the fire alarm or electrical system industry.
  • Basic knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) systems and electrical components.
  • Familiarity with electrical work practices and safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams.
  • Responsible, with the ability to work safely in live plant environments.
  • Punctual, hardworking, and able to follow instructions effectively.
  • Experience in the construction industry is an added advantage.
