Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Infrastructure Planning:

  • Lead the design and development of advanced infrastructure solutions aligned with business goals
  • Develop long-term strategies for scalable and efficient IT Infrastructure

Advanced System Design and Implementation:

  • Oversee system deployment of complex infrastructure project, including high-availability systems, storage solution and advanced networking
  • Architect solutions for cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments

Network and server management:

  • Manage and optimize large-scale network and server environments
  • Ensures high availability, reliability, and performance of all IT systems

Cloud and virtualization Expertise:

  • Design and implement cloud- based infrastructure solution (AWS)
  • lead virtualization initiatives using platforms like ProxmoxVe

Security and compliance Leadership:

  • Establish and enforce security best practices and compliance standards
  • Conduct security audits and risk assessments and implement remediation strategies

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Lead performance tuning, Capacity planning and infrastructure optimization efforts
  • Implement monitoring tools and a framework to proactively manage system health

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

  • Design and manage comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Ensure minimal downtime and data loss during incidents

Automation and Innovation:

  • Drive automation initiative to streamline infrastructure operations
  • Implement advanced scripting and infrastructure as (Lac) practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible or Puppet

Mentorship and leadership:

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and career development
  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering infrastructure projects on time and within budget

Stakeholder Collaborate and Reporting:

  • Collaborate with IT leadership, business stakeholders and vendors to align the infrastructure project with business needs
  • Prepare and present a detailed report on infrastructure performance, project status and future recommendations

Project Management and Leadership:

  • Proven ability to manage and deliver large-scale IT Infrastructure projects
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience leading diverse technical teams

Soft skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • High level of initiative and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or any equivalent
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or leadership role
  • Experience in Network, Anti-Malware, IT infrastructure, Hardware Management
  • Experience in operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS) and certified Solution Architect
