JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Ensure all company operations comply with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and other relevant Malaysian regulations. Prepare and maintain required documentation, permits, and reports for DOSH and other authorities.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments. Recommend and implement corrective/preventive actions to eliminate hazards and minimize risks
  • Organize safety induction and refresher training for employees and contractors. Promote a proactive safety culture through campaigns, briefings, and toolbox talks.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses; submit reports with root cause analysis and preventive measures. Track corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
  • Develop, review, and test emergency response plans. Coordinate fire drills and first aid readiness. Also, monitor and ensure proper waste handling, recycling, and pollution control measures. Support initiatives to reduce the company's environmental impact.
  • Evaluate SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) performance and propose process improvement according to federal laws
  • Focuses on the officer's ability to build credibility, foster a transparent safety culture, and uphold ethical standard
  • Manages, maintains, and improves safety-related processes. This includes processes like risk assessments, incident reporting, safety audits, training systems, permit-to-work systems, and compliance tracking.
  • Remain up to date with evolving safety standards, technologies, and industry best practices, and can apply technical knowledge effectively in the workplace

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • BACHELOR'S DEGREE / DIPLOMA IN OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY & HEALTH, ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE, ENGINEERING, OR EQUIVALENT.
  • REGISTERED SAFETY & HEALTH OFFICER (SHO) WITH DOSH (GREEN BOOK HOLDER) PREFERRED.
  • MINIMUM 3–5 YEARS OF RELEVANT SAFETY EXPERIENCE IN LOGISTICS, AUTOMOTIVE, OR INDUSTRIAL SERVICES.

Ø OSHMS IMPLEMENTATION (ISO 45001)

Ø EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND HAZARDOUS MATERIAL HANDLING (E.G. LEAD-ACID BATTERY SAFETY)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
