Data Center Commissioning Lead

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end commissioning activities from pre-commissioning to final handover.
  • Plan, manage, and execute commissioning strategies, procedures, and schedules.
  • Coordinate teams, contractors, and resources to meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system readiness.
  • Verify M&E systems comply with design intent, specifications, and regulatory standards.
  • Review drawings, manuals, and project documentation prior to commissioning.
  • Provide on-site leadership, training, and safety oversight for commissioning teams.
  • Prepare commissioning reports, track progress, and address issues with stakeholders.
  • Support post-commissioning reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Be site-based as required, either short- or long-term.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Data Center commissioning, Data Center M&E design, or other mission-critical facilities.
  • Strong technical knowledge of data center mechanical and electrical systems, including power distribution, cooling systems, and control systems.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in a site-based environment.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
