We are seeking a diligent and organized Shop Assistant to join our team, focusing on stock management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that stock is properly organized, restocked, and accurately tracked within the store. You will play an essential role in maintaining an efficient stockroom and ensuring smooth stock operations.

Responsibility

  • Assist the Stock team with stock counting when required.
  • Receive and store deliveries of large stock shipments, providing assistance as needed.
  • Ensure stock in the storeroom is well organized and protected from contaminants (e.g., pesticides).
  • Support Sales Assistants in preparing and loading stock for customer vehicles.
  • Prepare restocking lists and submit them to the Branch Manager.
  • Restock shelves, organize displays, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Label stock shelves in the storeroom for easy identification.
  • Assist technicians with display installations when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirement

  • Prior experience in stock management or warehouse duties is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Good physical health is a priority.
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Position based in Tuaran, successful candidate will be required to undergo training in Kota Kinabalu.
