About the role

MILDEF INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD' is seeking a highly skilled Driveline Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Driveline Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimisation of the drivetrain systems for our state-of-the-art vehicles. This full-time position is based in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan, offering you the opportunity to be part of an exciting and innovative project within the Mechanical Engineering industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Designing, analysing, and optimising driveline components such as transmissions, differentials, and axles to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  2. Conducting simulations and testing to validate driveline designs and identify areas for improvement
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including vehicle dynamics, chassis, and powertrain engineers, to integrate the driveline system with the overall vehicle architecture
  4. Troubleshooting and resolving complex driveline-related issues, ensuring the reliability and durability of our vehicles
  5. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to inform product development
  6. Preparing technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in driveline engineering, preferably in the automotive or heavy equipment industry
  3. Strong understanding of driveline components, including transmissions, differentials, and axles, and their associated design principles
  4. Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and data analysis techniques
  5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  6. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
  7. Commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improving your technical expertise
