Job Responsibilities :-


•Design, configure, maintain, and optimize critical databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, OracleDB, MongoDB) to support high-concurrency and large-scale data processing.


•Experience in K8s (Kubernetes) is a plus.


•Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies to ensure business continuity.


•Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize SQL queries, index design, and storage engine configurations for performance tuning.


•Troubleshoot complex database issues, including latency, downtime, and scalability challenges under high traffic.


•Document architectures, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing and team alignment.


•Implement and enforce database security policies request from Site and Global


•Manage user access controls and permissions.


•Assist in database audits and compliance reporting.


•Participate in disaster recovery planning and drills.

Job Requirements :-

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
  • 2  years working experience in Server/DBA engineer roles


•Familiarity with RDBMS (Oracle, MSSQL Server, MySQL and DB2) and SQL scripting


•Required skill(s): DB, Servers knowledge


•Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin speaker are encouraged to apply


•Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must willing to work Overtime and Shift Work. Allowance and OT will be paid accordingly.
