Localisation Tester

Job Title: Localisation Tester (Malay/Indonesian)

Work Location: Georgetown, Penang

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract

We are seeking a detailed-oriented Localisation Tester to ensure high-quality, accurate, and culturally appropriate content across multiple platforms. This role combines linguistic expertise with quality assurance testing skills to deliver seamless localized experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, edit, score, translate, and report on content across a wide range of media and content types.
• Conduct comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) testing across multiple platforms and environments, including Production, as specified by each project.
• Identify, report, and document bugs; troubleshoot issues and provide clear, actionable feedback to improve quality.
• Collaborate on the development and refinement of style guides and terminology databases to ensure consistency and adherence to project requirements.
• Support ad hoc projects as needed.
• Proactively contribute innovative ideas to improve processes, workflows, and automation efforts to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or linguistic testing.
• Native-level fluency in the Malay or Indonesian language (both written and spoken).
• Strong command of English (both written and spoken).
• Proficient in Mac OS/iOS environments.
