Job Summary:

The IT Manager is responsible for managing, planning, implementing, and maintaining all information technology systems and digital infrastructure across Kopatha Group and its subsidiaries. This includes overseeing the POS systems in retail and F&B outlets, CRM platforms, brand websites, mobile applications, company emails, hardware, software, cybersecurity, and overall IT operations to ensure efficiency, security, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:1. IT Infrastructure & System Management

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all IT hardware, software, networks, and servers.
  • Ensure stable performance and uptime of POS systems, CRM platforms, and other operational tools.
  • Monitor system security, data protection, and user access to safeguard company information.
  • Manage data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper documentation and licensing compliance.

2. POS System Management (Retail & F&B)

  • Oversee the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of POS systems in all outlets.
  • Coordinate with vendors for POS maintenance, updates, and integration with inventory and accounting systems.
  • Train staff on POS usage, troubleshooting, and reporting procedures.
  • Ensure data accuracy and synchronization between outlets and headquarters.

3. CRM, Websites & Apps

  • Manage and maintain the company's CRM system for customer engagement and data analytics.
  • Supervise the development, updates, and functionality of all brand websites and mobile applications under Kopatha Group.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Branding Department to optimize online presence, SEO, and digital campaigns.
  • Ensure secure hosting, data integrity, and smooth functionality across all digital platforms.

4. Email & Communication Systems

  • Manage company domain emails and ensure proper setup for new hires and departments.
  • Oversee email security, spam filtering, and storage capacity management.
  • Ensure reliable connectivity and access across all office and outlet networks.

5. IT Policy, Compliance & Security

  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and user access controls.
  • Conduct regular system audits and security checks to prevent breaches or unauthorized access.
  • Stay updated on technology trends and compliance with Malaysian data protection regulations (PDPA).
  • Recommend IT upgrades, new tools, or automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.

6. Technical Support & Team Leadership

  • Lead and supervise IT Executives and Assistants across the Group.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to all departments.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors, service providers, and consultants as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant IT management experience, preferably in retail/F&B or group-based environments.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems, networking, cloud solutions, CRM, and website management.
  • Proficient in cybersecurity, database management, and system integration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Experience managing multiple subsidiaries or business units.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and cloud hosting environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to respond to urgent IT issues promptly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract, Internship, Fresh graduate

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
