Key Accountabilities

  • Act as Tier 3 support, handling escalations from Customer Service Helpdesk.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting, incident resolution, and lead post-mortems.
  • Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers, providing training and technical guidance.
  • Plan, test, and implement network upgrades, improvements, and standards.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain key network technologies (e.g., Cisco, F5, SD-WAN, MPLS, firewalls, WAF).
  • Monitor Internet peering, traffic management, and ensure network performance meets SLA.
  • Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams on complex issues.
  • Support data center operations and ensure optimal uptime and resiliency.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in IT, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • 5–6 years of experience in telecommunications, network operations, or network engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge in routing/switching protocols (especially BGP, OSPF) and hands-on experience with Cisco products.
  • Experience with cybersecurity concepts and their application in network design and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead resolution activities.
  • Willingness to work on standby, on-call, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5, RM6,500.00 per month
