About the role

Citycare pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Bandar Baru Selayang, Selangor. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients and playing a key role in the overall operations of our community pharmacy. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.

What you'll be doing

  • Dispensing and verifying prescription orders accurately and efficiently
  • Providing medication counselling and education to patients
  • Monitoring patient medication use and identifying potential issues or interactions
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies and procedures
  • Participating in the development and implementation of pharmacy programs and initiatives
  • Supervising and mentoring pharmacy technicians and interns

What we're looking for

  • A valid Pharmacy degree and current registration with the Malaysian Pharmacy Board
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Pharmacist in a community or hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare providers
  • Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to make sound, evidence-based decisions
  • Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and other relevant technology
  • A commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
