About the role

Frontken Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a full-time Facility Intern to join our team based in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our state-of-the-art facility. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Electrical/Electronic Engineering field and contribute to the success of a leading industrial solutions provider.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems within the facility
  2. Conducting regular inspections and monitoring of facility equipment to identify and address any issues
  3. Collaborating with the facilities team to implement preventive maintenance programs
  4. Supporting the implementation of energy-efficient initiatives and sustainable practices
  5. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for facility-related systems and equipment
  6. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all facility-related activities
  7. Participating in training and development programs to continuously enhance your skills

What we're looking for

  1. Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and address issues efficiently
  3. Good understanding of electrical and electronic systems, including their installation, operation, and maintenance
  4. Familiarity with safety protocols and the ability to work in a safe and responsible manner
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the facilities team
  6. A proactive and hands-on approach, with a keen interest in learning and improving facility operations
