Job Description

  • Oversee and optimize the overall operations of the IT department to support and align with the organization's business goals.
  • Plan, allocate, and manage IT resources while establishing clear objectives and performance targets.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain IT strategies, frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage information systems by coordinating IT activities, assessing operational effectiveness, and leading the IT team efficiently.
  • Guide and motivate the team to leverage technology as a strategic enabler while supporting and educating end-user departments.
  • Lead IT-related projects, manage budgets, drive continuous process improvements, and address operational challenges effectively.
  • Ensure proper design, development, and execution of IT processes to maintain high-quality outcomes and deliverables.
  • Enhance and maintain IT infrastructure, including enterprise servers, network performance, and system security, in line with business needs.
  • Work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
  • Establish and enforce IT governance, best practices, and compliance standards across the organization.
  • Work closely with infrastructure and application teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent system and operational issues.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities with the ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and adapt to changing business demands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid technical expertise combined with strong business acumen.
  • Well-established vendor and service provider management and negotiation skills.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise systems and technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Office tools, Power BI, MS SQL Server, HCL email, Lotus Notes (forms and workflows), .NET, VMware environments, and exposure to digital transformation initiatives.
