What you'll be doing?

• Technical Drawing Excellence: Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and comprehensive schematics using AutoCAD and other CAD software for electrical and lighting projects.
• Multi-Disciplinary Design Support: Create professional technical drawings for mechanical, civil, electrical, and structural projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Specification Analysis: Review engineering specifications and technical documents to develop accurate drawings that translate concepts into implementable solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements and client expectations.
• Design Revision Management: Efficiently revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes while maintaining version control.
• Documentation: Maintain organized drawing files, records, and technical documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
• Technical Support: Assist in preparing bills of materials, drawing indexes, and other essential technical documents for project execution.
• Project Administration: Ensure timely issuance of progress claims and client invoices while maintaining accurate project documentation.
• Compliance: Ensure all drafting work complies with relevant industry codes, engineering standards, and safety regulations.

Who are they looking for?

• Educational Background: Candidates with a Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related fields.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Draftsman in engineering environments, demonstrating competency in technical drawing and design processes.
• CAD Expertise: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or other relevant CAD software packages.
• E&E Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems, lighting design principles, and related technical specifications.
• Technical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering specifications accurately.
• Communication: Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Industry Awareness: Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, ISO, or local engineering codes.
• Advanced Abilities: Experience with 3D modeling software and effective multitasking skills are highly valued.
