Quantity Surveyor

- Assist in all costs preparation relating to the projects from initial calculations, cost analysis to the final figures.
- Able to manage vendors/supplies with good negotiation skills.
- Full involvement in tracking project work status (confirmation from suppliers, costs, product delivery) proactively.
- To calculate the cost of construction for projects based on drawings and documents.
- Assist in coming out with building materials estimation for each project and take site measurements.
- Assist in preparation of project budget, progress claim, final account and final details of bill of quantities (BQ).
- Procure the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the project.
- Able to handle short time-line work tasks.
- Assist Manager to prepare monthly reports.
- Assist Manager in daily tasks.
- Any other duties that management may assign from time to time.
- Report to the Manager of Project Management Department.
- Possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Surveyor.
- A minimum of 2 years working experience in construction industry or related field.
- Outstanding analytic skill and coordination skill.
- Excellent time management to meet multiple deadline and work under pressure.
- Computer literate with strong spread sheet skills and project documentation (Microsoft Office, Project Documentation, AutoCad, Canva).
- Experience in contract administration is an added advantage.
- Have a proactive approach to achieving goals and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Applicant should be a Malaysian Citizen.
- The candidate should have excellent command of English & Bahasa Melayu.
