Job Title: Software Development Engineer (.NET)

Location: Malaysia

Centific is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Automation team. This role is instrumental in supporting backend development and automation initiatives that enhance platform reliability, streamline patching workflows, and modernize tooling across distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend services and automation tools.
  • Build and optimize system automation, patch deployment, and configuration management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation failures, patching errors, and system performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Contribute to onboarding and knowledge transfer for new team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology field.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET development
  • Experience with backend or integration tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and patching.
  • Familiarity with patch management tools and processes.
  • Solid understanding of system administration (Windows/Linux) and deployment workflows.
  • Effective problem-solving and debugging capabilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in enterprise infrastructure automation and tooling.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of compliance and security considerations in patching and automation.
