About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our team in Ipoh, Perak. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs that bring our clients' visions to life. This is a full-time position and will involve working closely with our in-house design team to deliver high-quality projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborating with clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, and lifestyle needs.
  • Conducting site visits and taking accurate space measurements to inform the design process.
  • Designing custom 3D furniture such as kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, and TV cabinets.
  • Proposing suitable colour schemes and material combinations to achieve the desired aesthetic.
  • Selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials for each project.
  • Working closely with the sales and factory teams to finalise design details and ensure feasibility.
  • Providing ongoing support and project management throughout the implementation phase.
  • Ensuring all designs comply with relevant building regulations and safety standards.

What we're looking for

  • A degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Experience as an Interior Designer, preferably within the property development sector.
  • Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or 3ds Max.
  • Basic understanding of carpentry and cabinet construction.
  • Strong design sense, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
