About the Role

Helius Technologies is hiring a Software Development Engineer to support our client, a global leader in oil & gas, energy production, and renewable solutions. You will be part of a high-impact engineering team delivering application components for a major decommissioning and modernization project.

In this role, you will design, develop, test, and optimize application features across multiple systems, while contributing to key technical decisions and guiding the engineering team. This position requires expert-level proficiency in AWS Lambda, along with strong experience in modern development frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, and test application components across multiple client systems.
  • Perform enhancements, maintenance, and new feature development using best engineering practices.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to team members across multiple technical domains.
  • Lead and participate in team decision-making, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop innovative solutions to improve application performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure the highest standards of code quality and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Engage with multiple teams to support seamless integration and alignment across the engineering ecosystem.
  • Stay updated on new technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to drive innovation.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have (Mandatory)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in AWS Lambda (P4 – Expert)

Strongly Preferred

  • Expert proficiency in C# Software Development
  • Advanced experience with
  • Advanced experience with Python frameworks
  • Experience with Spring Boot is an advantage
