JOB POSITION: TECHNICIAN (MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL – M&E)

Technician (Mechanical & Electrical – M&E)
Work Location: Kota Damansara, Selangor Company: Quantum Supplies (M) Sdn. Bhd.
Focus: Manufacturing Food Industry – Chocolate

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or related technical field).
  • Proven experience in machinery maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Familiarity with ISO quality systems and maintenance documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  • Machinery Maintenance: Ensure all production and facility machinery are kept in good running condition through regular maintenance and timely repairs.
  • Servicing and Repairs: Perform servicing, troubleshooting, and repair work on mechanical and electrical systems as required.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections to minimize downtime and improve equipment lifespan.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and breakdowns.
  • Prepare and submit maintenance and breakdown reports to the Factory Manager.
  • Update ISO-related documents in compliance with company standards and quality systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support across various stages of the production process when needed.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and operational guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Record Management: Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all machinery, tools, and maintenance-related equipment.
