Key Responsibilities:

About the Role

XUYAN is an immersive dining show where performance and cuisine happen together.

We are casting full-time performers for our new KL production.

The show blends Chinese Classical Dance, Malay Traditional Dance, Indian Classical/Bollywood Dance, and Contemporary Stage Performance.

You don't need a formal arts degree — but you must have dance foundation, stage confidence, and presence

Responsibilities

  • Attend daily rehearsals (dance, spacing, character movement)
  • Perform 2 shows per day (≈ 90minutes each)
  • Interact naturally with guests during specific segments
  • Maintain physical condition and professional stage attitude
  • Collaborate and communicate well with cast & choreographers

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Dance Background (at least one of the following)
  • Chinese Classical / Folk / Modern Chinese
  • Malay Traditional / Joget
  • Indian Classical (Bharatanatyam / Odissi / Kathak) or Bollywood
  • Contemporary / Jazz / Stage Performance
  • Bonus skills: facial expression control, acting ability, singing, camera presence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM6,000.00 per month
