About the role

EPG ENGINEERING SYSTEM SDN. BHD. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Senai Johor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for performing welding operations to assemble and repair metal structures, products, and equipment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform welding operations using various welding techniques and equipment
  2. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding procedures
  3. Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  4. Maintain and operate welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  5. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues
  6. Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies

What we're looking for

  1. Formal training or certification in welding, such as a diploma or vocational qualification
  2. Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications
  4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  6. Experience in the Trades & Services industry, particularly in the Welders & Boilermakers sub-industry, would be highly advantageous
