Job Summary:

As Finance Manager, you will be the key person responsible for ensuring the financial health of the company; from cash flow planning and product costing to budgeting, reporting, and providing strategic decision support. You will work directly with the CEO and collaborate with our external accounting partner, while partnering with Marketing, Operations, and HR to ensure every business decision is backed by financial clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts & Ledger Management

  • Manage the complete set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, Bank Reconciliation, Journal Entries)
  • Coordinate monthly closing with our external accounting partner (VCS)
  • Ensure accounting records are timely, accurate, and audit-ready

2. Cashflow & Financial Planning

  • Maintain and update the cashflow tracker daily/weekly
  • Monitor cash inflows (sales) and outflows (expenses, suppliers, marketing)
  • Alert management on funding gaps, cash tightness or spending concerns

3. Product Costing & Margin Monitoring

  • Maintain up-to-date costing for every SKU (raw material, packaging, shipping, etc.)
  • Calculate and monitor Gross Margin per product and by channel (Shopee, TikTok, Guardian)
  • Support the Marketing team in understanding breakeven, ROAS, and profitability per campaign

4. Budgeting & Variance Analysis

  • Work with the CEO and departments to set and track monthly budgets
  • Review actual vs budget performance; investigate overspends or variance
  • Support cost-control initiatives across teams

5. Sales, Stock & Operations Integration

  • Reconcile sales data (from online & retail) with inventory and cost records
  • Collaborate with Ops to forecast stock replenishment needs
  • Provide financial visibility to guide promotions, launches, and ad spending

6. Reporting & Decision Support

  • Prepare Monthly Management Report: Revenue, Profit, Cost Breakdown, Cash Status
  • Create dashboards or summary reports for CEO use
  • Participate in meetings with investors, PE firms, or the Board (when needed)

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent (ACCA/CPA part-qualified is a bonus)
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting, finance, costing, or FP&A experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role (preferably in FMCG, retail, or pharmaceutical industries).
  • Familiar with the FMCG, retail, or E-commerce industry
  • Strong in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, or Xero, a plus
  • Able to translate data into decisions, not just reporting
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Able to work in the HQ office located at Section 15, Shah Alam
