1. Ancillary Department - Digital Media Apprentice (Facebook & YouTube) - 2 roles available

Digital Media Apprentice

Role: Facebook Channel Apprentice - 1 role available

Suitable for students in:

Digital Marketing/Marketing/Mass Communication/Social Media Management/Business/Advertising/Public Relations

You'll need:

• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Creator Studio, and Ads Manager
• Understanding of the Facebook algorithm (best posting times, engagement strategies)
• Ability to create a content calendar and do copywriting
• Basic photo & video editing (Canva / CapCut)
• Knowledge of Facebook monetization policies
• Skills to analyze and report performance (reach, engagement, follower growth)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow the Facebook page/channel
• Upload, schedule, and monitor posts & comments
• Write catchy captions with strong CTAs
• Track analytics and performance
• Brainstorm content ideas based on trends and audience insights
• Work towards monetization goals (followers, watch time, engagement)

Digital Media Apprentice

Role: Youtube Channel Apprentice - 1 role available

Suitable for students in:

Film/Multimedia/Broadcasting/Mass Communication (Digital Media)/Marketing/Digital Content Creation/Data Analytics

What you'll need:

• Familiarity with YouTube Studio and how the YouTube algorithm works
• Ability to optimize titles, tags, descriptions & thumbnails
• Strong data analysis skills (CTR, retention, watch time)
• Awareness of YouTube trends and Shorts strategy
• Proficiency in Canva / Photoshop / CapCut / Premiere Pro
• Basic understanding of copyright & monetization rules

Key Responsibilities:

• Upload and optimize all videos on the channel
• Research trending topics, keywords & competitors
• Monitor analytics - CTR, views, retention, subscriber growth
• Support the content team with ideas & trend analysis
• Ensure monetization targets (1K subs, 4K watch hours) are met
• Test new upload strategies (titles, thumbnails, timing)
• Prepare weekly performance reports & action plans

2. Layout Team - Thumbnails/Banners - 1 role available

Role: Graphic Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce video thumbnails for a variety of series and movie content.
• Utilize design software and tools to create visually engaging, fun, and appropriate thumbnails that accurately represent the content.
• Explore and apply various AI tools in the design process to enhance efficiency and creative output.

• Assist the team with various short-term design tasks across different platforms.
  
  3. AI Content - Script & Song Writer - 1 role available
  
  Role: Script & Song Writer
  
  Key Responsibilities:

• Refining and editing song lyrics and scripts.

• Assisting with the writing of original songs and scripts.
• Actively participating in brainstorming sessions to develop new concepts.
• Helping to organize and prepare materials for idea pitches.

4. Technology Department - Upload/Download - 3 roles available

Role: Content Uploader

A Content Uploader is responsible for managing and updating content on a website or digital platform, ensuring it's accurate, optimized, and aligned with the overall content strategy. This involves uploading new content, updating existing content, and collaborating with content creators and other teams to maintain the website's digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Content Management

•⁠ ⁠Uploading new content

•⁠ ⁠Updating existing content to reflect changes or revisions

•⁠ ⁠Managing and organizing content within a Content Management System (CMS)

Content Optimization

•⁠ ⁠Ensuring all uploaded content is properly tagged, categorized, and optimized for search engines (SEO) and user experience (UX)

•⁠ ⁠Collaborating with content creators to gather necessary assets and information for upload

Collaboration and Communication

•⁠ ⁠Working closely with content creators, designers, and developers to ensure content is properly formatted and integrated into the website

•⁠ ⁠Communicating with content managers to address any content-related issues or requests.

Monitoring and Maintenance

•⁠ ⁠Monitoring website performance and troubleshooting content-related issues

•⁠ ⁠Regularly reviewing content to ensure it remains accurate and up-to-date

Content Planning

•⁠ ⁠Contributing to the development of content planning strategies

•⁠ ⁠Assisting with the creation of content templates and guidelines
