PHARMACY ASSISTANT AT MEDIGOOD PHARMACY KULIM

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic pharmacy assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, assisting the pharmacist with daily tasks, and ensuring smooth operations in the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with their medication needs, provide information on over-the-counter products, and handle inquiries professionally.
  • Medication Dispensing: Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescribed medications, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory control, restock shelves, and manage product expiry dates.
  • Prescription Management: Help process prescriptions by entering patient information, verifying medication details, and preparing prescription labels.
  • Pharmacy Administration: Maintain patient records, file prescriptions, and assist in administrative tasks as needed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all pharmacy practices adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of medications.
  • Point of Sale (POS): Assist with sales transactions, including handling payments and providing receipts.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Certification in pharmacy assistance or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred

  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of basic pharmacy operations and medications is an advantage
