Job Overview
The Sales Specialist drives business growth by identifying, engaging, and closing opportunities for eLearning, HR Tech, and digital learning solutions. This role blends consultative selling, market development, and client relationship management to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs. You will act as a trusted advisor to organizations exploring digital learning transformation, contributing directly to revenue growth and customer success.
Key Responsibilities & Duties1. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned markets or industry segments.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed individual and team targets.
- Conduct market research to understand client organizations, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
2. Client Engagement & Consultative Selling
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships as the primary point of contact.
- Conduct needs analyses and recommend solutions aligned with client goals and challenges.
- Deliver engaging product presentations and demonstrations (virtual and in-person).
3. Proposal, Negotiation & Closing
- Prepare tailored proposals and quotations based on client requirements.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely closing of deals.
4. Cross-Selling & Account Growth
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth onboarding and solution delivery.
5. Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Maintain accurate lead, prospect, and client records in CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce).
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance updates, and market insights.
- Share field intelligence to support product development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in eLearning, EdTech, or B2B software.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in Office 365; CRM experience (Zoho, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
Added Advantage / Tools & Platforms
- Familiarity with learning platforms (TalentLMS, eFront), authoring tools (Articulate 360, Vyond, Powtoon), or hybrid learning tools (ClassIn, Colossyan).
- Experience using collaboration tools such as ClickUp, Miro Board, and Microsoft Teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3, RM6,000.00 per month
