Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccountability

  • Take direction and guidance from the Service Assurance Officer or relevant Department Head.
  • Report for duty punctually and at the designated location.
  • Perform duties efficiently and effectively in line with hospital standards and best practices.
  • Ensure all collections and dispatches are accurate and recorded properly.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare workers.
  • Adhere strictly to operational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding hospital, staff, and patient information.

General

  • Conduct daily checks to ensure all patient wheelchairs and trolleys are clean and in good working condition.
  • Address customer, staff, and patient inquiries courteously and efficiently.
  • Handle collection and transportation of X-rays, reports, medical records, specimens, and other items as required.
  • Collect and transport supplies and equipment within the hospital.
  • Assist in lifting, mobilizing, and transporting patients safely and in accordance with hospital policy.
  • Assist with the preparation and transfer of deceased patients to the mortuary, when necessary.
  • Manage the collection and delivery of hospital mail and documents.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Service Assurance Officer from time to time.

  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Follow hospital infection control policies and maintain good personal hygiene.
  • Adhere to the prescribed dress code and use all provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure security and safety of the working area and equipment.
  • Identify and report hazards or risks according to hospital policy.
  • Participate in all required health and safety training programs.
  • Follow correct lifting and handling techniques.
  • Be familiar with the hospital's Fire Plan and Emergency Codes.

Other

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance; ensure uniform and personal hygiene meet hospital standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1, RM2,000.00 per month
