About the Role

We are seeking a talented Draughtsman (Interior Design / AutoCAD Specialist) to join our dynamic team at Modernness Design and Build Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru. You will play a key role in transforming our clients' visions into precise technical drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.

Designer- Job Scope

·   Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings, plans, elevations, and schematics for whole projects.

·   Use AutoCAD and other design tools to produce high-quality technical drawings.

·   Work closely with the design team to interpret and implement client requirements.

·   Ensure drawings meet building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

·   Provide technical support to the team as needed.

.   Participate in project meetings and presentations.

What We're Looking For

·   Min. 3 years' experience as a Draughtsman or AutoCAD Specialist in interior design.

·   Preferably able to work in a Mandarin-speaking 会说华语 environment.

·   Experience in Residential or commercial design projects is a plus.

·   Able to translate design concepts into accurate and detailed technical drawings.

·   Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software.

·   Strong knowledge of construction details, joinery, and material specifications.

·   Ability to produce 2D drawings, 3D models, floor plans, elevations, and sections.

·   Skilled in reading and interpreting architectural / M&E drawings for coordination.

·   Strong attention to detail with accuracy in measurements and scaling.

·   Able to prepare as-built drawings and update revisions according to client or site changes.

·   Good communication skills to liaise with other designers, project managers, and contractors.

·   Time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
