About EBB Academy

EBB Academy is an official Cambridge Preparation Centre providing high-quality English language programmes for children aged 4 to 13 years.

Our curriculum follows the Cambridge English pathway, preparing students for Pre-A1 Starters, A1 Movers, A2 Flyers, A2 Key (KET), B1 Preliminary (PET) and B2 First for Schools, aligned with the CEFR framework.

At EBB Academy, we value inclusive, child-centred learning — welcoming SEN/ALN (e.g., dyslexia, ADHD, ASD) and ESL learners.

Class Format & Schedule

  • Saturday classes (school-aged learners) are conducted in a hybrid format (in-person + online).
  • Weekday classes (Monday–Friday) for early years / YLE learners are in-person.
  • Teachers typically teach 2 to 12 hours per week, depending on class load.
  • Students attend part-time, usually 2 hours per week.
  • Pay is based on the number of students and classes taught.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge English Curriculum (Pre-A1 to B2).
  • Prepare students for Cambridge English exams (Starters, Movers, Flyers, A2 Key, B1 Preliminary, B2 First)
  • Deliver hybrid lessons effectively and manage both online and in-person students.
  • Adapt lessons for SEN/ALN and ESL learners using inclusive, multisensory approaches.
  • Track and report learner progress and communicate with parents.
  • Attend meetings and professional training sessions as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in English, TESL/TEFL, Education, or related field (Degree preferred).
  • Experience teaching the Cambridge English Curriculum and preparing learners for Cambridge exams (Pre-A1 to B2).
  • Native or near-native English proficiency.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using Google Meet / Zoom for hybrid or online teaching.
  • Recognised teaching certificate (e.g. CELTA, TESOL, TEFL) is an advantage.
  • Passionate, patient, and able to engage young learners.
