We are a growing company in the joinery and furniture industry, specializing in the joinery and furniture industry, specializing in furniture manufacturing and interior fit-outs. We are looking for a dedicated Purchasing Clerk to support our procurement activities and ensure smooth supply of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process purchase orders for raw materials, hardware, fittings, and other supplies.
- Source and compare quotations from suppliers.
- Liaise with vendors to track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing lists, and supplier databases.
- Work closely with production and project teams to ensure material requirements are met.
- Handle administrative tasks related to procurement.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Experience in purchasing (preferably in furniture, construction, or manufacturing industry). Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From RM2,800.00 per month
