Position Overview

We are seeking an ambitious and visionary Business Development Manager to lead Fableration's growth strategy and partnership initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based at CloudTech Malaysia's office (Exsim Millerz Square). You will report to the executive team and work closely with CloudTech's management to expand Fableration's presence across Asia and beyond — building relationships with publishers, investors, and creative communities to drive platform adoption. This role combines strategic business leadership, partnership development, and fintech innovation — ideal for someone passionate about creative industries, blockchain, and Web3 business models.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Growth & Partnerships

  • Identify and establish partnerships with publishers, writing communities, and creative organizations.
  • Build collaborations with investors, universities, and innovation hubs aligned with Fableration's mission.
  • Work closely with CloudTech's executive and marketing teams to craft scalable partnership strategies.

2. Market Expansion & Ecosystem Building

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Fableration across Malaysia.

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for ecosystem growth and monetization.

3. Revenue & Model Innovation

  • Drive strategic campaigns that generate sustainable revenue and community participation.
  • Track performance metrics and report progress to management team

4. Brand Representation & Advocacy

  • Represent Fableration at industry events, conferences, and community engagements.
  • Promote Fableration's values
  • Build long-term relationships with stakeholders across the fintech, media, and creative sectors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or fintech/media ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of Web3, blockchain, or token-based business models.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to execute projects independently.
  • Must be able to work full-time from the office (on-site, not remote).
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in fintech, Web3, publishing, or creative tech startups.
  • Familiarity with smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), or tokenomics.
  • Comfortable working across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
