Conveyancing clerk

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, draft, and format legal documents, agreements, letters, and court documents.
• Handle filing of legal documents with courts, land offices, and other authorities.
• Manage document control, filing systems, and ensure proper maintenance of legal files and records.
• Perform legal research and gather necessary information to assist lawyers or legal executives.
• Liaise with clients, government agencies, and third parties on legal and administrative matters.
• Monitor and follow up on case files, deadlines, and appointments.
• Assist in the preparation of correspondence, status reports, and other administrative tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality of all legal and sensitive information.
• Handle general clerical duties including data entry, photocopying, scanning, and mailing.

Requirements

• SPM / Diploma / Certificate in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
• Prior experience as a Legal Clerk or in a legal firm is an advantage.
• Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
