Job Descriptions

  • Responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality control
  • Mid-level management role focusing on day-to-day production operations.
  • Manage daily operations of the production floor, ensuring timely and efficient manufacturing of bed frames.
  • Plan and schedule production activities based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, morale, support as needed and efficiency.
  • Monitor production lines to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and production guidelines.
  • Track and report production performance, identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies and taking corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Production to implement improvements in production processes, product quality, and cost reduction.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and equipment to prevent downtime.
  • Enforce and maintain workplace safety procedures in compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
  • Maintain accurate production records and ensure that all reporting requirements are met.
  • Manpower planning to ensure productivity run efficiency.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in production management, with a strong background in the furniture or bed frame manufacturing sector.
  • Solid understanding of production processes, quality assurance, and safety regulations.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate production teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address operational challenges efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of production management software or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet production deadlines.
