Job Description:

  • Lead, supervise, and guide the IT team in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning of IT infrastructure, systems, and support services.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level escalation support for complex IT issues, and oversee timely resolution of incidents.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktops, notebooks, databases, servers, network (LAN, WAN, intranet), firewall, and production workstations.
  • Ensure proper IT governance including data security, system compliance, and adherence to cybersecurity best practices.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor regular system maintenance, backups, disaster recovery tests, and system performance optimization
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation including policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and user manuals.
  • Manage IT hardware and software inventory, license renewals, warranty tracking, and procurement planning.
  • Conduct IT risk assessments, security audits, and vulnerability testing to mitigate cyber threats.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, software, and systems enhancements to support business growth.
  • Coordinate and manage vendor relationships for IT services, projects, upgrades, and application support.
  • Support IT budget preparation, cost control, and resource allocation to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate IT staff performance to build technical competency and service excellence within the team.
  • Report regularly to Management on IT performance, incidents, and improvement plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by Management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Computer Science/Information Technology or other related background.
  • At least three (3) years' experience in IT support and infrastructure management, preferably in a supervisory role or above (candidates with manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Must be able to speak & write in Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Microsoft certification preferred: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent and above.
  • Proficient in Ruijie network equipment (Must).
  • Familiar with Icewarp Merak Mail System.
  • Proficient in various office software, Microsoft SQL and IT service management tools.
  • Possess knowledge in IT network, server, security and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5, RM7,000.00 per month
