Scrub Technician

Job Descriptions:

• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for orthopaedic trauma procedures.
• Ensure all instruments are properly sterilized, functional, and available prior to surgery.
• Maintain a sterile field during operations and anticipate the surgeon's needs.
• Assist in positioning and draping patients in accordance with surgical protocols.
• Hand instruments and materials to the surgeon during procedures.
• Perform counts of instruments and supplies before and after surgeries to ensure no items are retained.
• Support in post-operative clean-up and proper handling of instruments for reprocessing.
• Adhere strictly to infection control and hospital safety guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of surgical procedures and instrument usage.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing, Medical Assistant, or related healthcare field.
• Prior experience in operating theatre settings, especially in orthopaedics, is highly preferred.
• Fresh graduates with clinical attachments in OT settings are welcome to apply.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical protocols.
• Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa (Additional language is a bonus)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
