What You Will Do

As a Talent Sourcing Specialist at DayOne, you will play a pivotal role in building the talent pipelines that power our rapid global growth. You'll partner closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to identify, attract, and engage exceptional talent across multiple regions and business units.

Build talent pipelines for critical roles:

  • Create deep, high-quality pipelines across DC Operations, Construction/CPM/Costing, Engineering/Design, EHS, and Corporate functions.

  • Map talent markets across to identify where talent exists and how to reach them.

Source and engage top passive talent:

  • Use advanced search techniques, Boolean logic, AI sourcing tools, and talent intelligence platforms.

  • Identify passive candidates and build personalised outreach aligned to DayOne's EVP.

  • Drive strong response and engagement rates through structured messaging sequences.

Partner closely with recruiters and hiring leaders:

  • Join kick-off and alignment meetings to understand target profiles and market realities.

  • Align sourcing strategies to business needs, hiring timelines, and country-specific supply constraints.

  • Provide weekly updates on pipelines, conversion, and talent availability.

Use data to drive better hiring decisions:

  • Track and analyse sourcing metrics to refine strategies.

  • Present insights on market trends, talent pools, and competitor movements.

  • Maintain clean CRM/ATS data and support proactive workforce planning.

Leverage technology, automation and AI:

  • Use automation tools, CRM workflows, and AI-powered sourcing engines to activate and scale pipelines.

  • Experiment with new tools, channels, and sourcing approaches to improve efficiency.

Champion DayOne's employer brand:

  • Represent DayOne's EVP in all outreach and candidate interactions.

  • Contribute sourcing content and talent community engagement initiatives.

Success Measures:

  • Strong, consistent talent pipelines delivered ahead of demand.

  • Faster time-to-shortlist for recruiters and hiring teams.

  • Improved response and conversion rates from passive talent.

  • Positive and professional candidate experience from first contact.

  • Data-driven insights supporting hiring and workforce planning.
