Key Responsibilities:- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by senior chefs (e.g., peeling, cutting, portioning).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen equipment.
- Follow proper hygiene and sanitation procedures in compliance with hotel and food safety standards.
- Ensure all ingredients are properly labeled, stored, and rotated (FIFO system).
- Assist with stock deliveries, storage, and inventory as needed.
- Support higher-level commis and chefs during service with basic tasks.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas.
- Participate in training and development programs to improve culinary skills and knowledge.
- Uphold the hotel's values, grooming standards, and code of conduct.
