Role Description

We are looking for a Junior Accountant / Accounts & Tax Executive to join our team in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur.

You'll be part of our Australian accounting team — handling bookkeeping, preparing workpapers, and assisting with financial statements and tax returns. Don't worry if you're a fresh graduate — full training and guidance will be provided

If you already have experience in accounting or outsourcing firms, even better — you'll have the opportunity to take on more advanced work and grow quickly within the team.

Key Responsibility

  • Perform bookkeeping and maintain general ledgers for Australian clients
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and journals using Xero, QBO or MYOB
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and tax returns (BAS, IAS, Company/Individual)
  • Support senior accountants in preparing workpapers and audit schedules
  • Ensure all accounting records are accurate and properly filed
  • Communicate with team members to meet reporting deadlines

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (training provided)
  • Candidates with 1–3 years' experience in accounting firms are also welcome
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles
  • English proficiency is essential; Mandarin reading/writing is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn
  • Familiarity with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks is a plus
