Job Responsibilities:

Electrical Electronics Engineers

• Collaborate on the design and review of server hardware schematics and PCB layouts, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in component selection, qualification, and evaluation for server hardware (CPUs, memory, chipsets, power components, high-speed interfaces).
• Involve in system bring-up, debug, and troubleshooting of electrical issues from prototype to production.
• Develop and execute validation plans, analyzing results and driving issue resolution.
• Power integrity (PI) and signal integrity (SI) analysis and validation.
• Work with firmware and system validation teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to electrical design and validation.
• Failure analysis and root cause identification.

Software Firmware Engineers

• Design, develop, and maintain firmware for various server components, including BIOS/UEFI, BMC.
• Implement and optimize features related to server system boot, power management, thermal control, sensor monitoring, error handling, and security.
• Participate actively in hardware bring-up activities for new server platforms, diagnosing and resolving issues at the hardware-firmware interface.
• Work closely with hardware engineers to define firmware requirements.
• Utilize hardware debugging tools for root cause analysis.
• Integrate firmware components with hardware, operating systems, and higher-level software.
• Support system-level validation, including functional, performance, stress, and reliability testing.
• Analyze test failures to identify firmware-related root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to defining test plans and improving test coverage for firmware.

Mechanical Engineers

• Design mechanical components and assemblies for server.
• Create 3D models and 2D detailed drawings using CAD software .
• Perform tolerance analysis, structural analysis (FEA), and design for manufacturability and assembly.
• Collaborate with other member of design team to integrate mechanical solutions effectively.
• Participate in material selection and evaluation for mechanical components.
• Build and test prototypes, conduct mechanical validation and drive issue resolution.
• Work with manufacturing partners to support tooling development, first article inspection, and ramp-up.
• Contribute to failure analysis of mechanical components and systems.

Thermal Engineers

• Design, analyze, and optimize thermal management solutions for servers
• Perform CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations and thermal modeling.
• Develop and execute thermal test plans, conduct experiments in a lab environment and analyze results.
• Collaborate with other member of design team to integrate thermal solutions.
• Select and qualify thermal components and materials.
• Investigate and resolve thermal issues found during development or in the field.

TPM - Test Process Management Engineers

• Design, implement, and maintain robust test processes, procedures, and methodologies for hardware validation of servers.
• Develop and enforce clear guidelines for test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting to ensure consistency across projects and teams.
• Standardize test environments, equipment, and configurations to ensure repeatable and reliable test results.
• Collaborate with design engineering teams to define comprehensive test strategies and test scopes for new product introduction and sustaining projects.
• Assist in defining appropriate test coverage metrics and ensure their effective implementation and measurement throughout the product lifecycle.
• Facilitate risk assessments to identify critical test areas and prioritize test efforts based on product requirements and potential impact.
• Evaluate, select, and deploy test automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to enhance testing efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Work with development teams to integrate automated tests for faster feedback.
• Drive the adoption of best practices for test data management, logging, and analysis.
• Lead root cause analysis for test escapes or systemic process issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Consolidation and lead review of test validation results, and publication to relevant parties.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for test processes, tools, and best practices.
• Provide training and support to validation engineers on new processes, tools, and methodologies.

System Integration Test Validation Engineers

• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, and test process management (TPM) teams to understand system architecture, functional specifications, and use cases for servers.
• Develop detailed system integration test plans, test cases, and test procedures focusing on end-to-end functionality, interoperability, and system-level performance.
• Define test scope and coverage for system-level testing, ensuring all critical interfaces and interaction points are thoroughly validated.
• Design, set up, and improve comprehensive test system infrastructure and configuration involving multiple servers, network switches, storage devices, and various operating systems.
• Configure network topologies, install and configure operating systems, drivers, firmware, and management software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test systems infrastructure and configurations.
• Execute system integration tests (manual and automated) according to defined plans and procedures.
• Monitor system behavior, collect logs, and analyze performance data.
• Identify, reproduce, and accurately document defects, providing clear steps to reproduce and relevant diagnostic information for design teams.
• Perform root cause analysis for identified issues, collaborating with design teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and repeatability.
• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines where applicable.

Project Manager

• Lead cross-functional engineering and operations teams (Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, Firmware, Test, Manufacturing) to deliver server programs.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and budgets.
• Identify, track, and mitigate program risks and dependencies.
• Facilitate regular program meetings, track progress, and drive issue resolution.
• Communicate program status, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders.
• Manage relationships and deliverables with external partners .

BOM Engineer / Parts Custodian

• Create, review, and release BOMs in ERP/PLM systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Manage Eng'g Change Notice for design revisions, part substitutions, or process improvements.
• Resolve BOM discrepancies and align with design drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Assist in needed laboratory setup, validation and testing.
• Perform logistical activity of procurement of R&D supplies and equipment maintenance.
• Manage control receiving, issuance and storage of engineering parts and accessories.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, and records of status and location of all Test FRUs, test accessories (e.g., cables, power supplies, interface cards) and test parts (e.g. CPUs, RAM,SSDs for testing purposes).
• Ensure proper environmental conditions (e.g. ESD safety) are maintained for sensitive components.
• Disposal or retirement of obsolete or unserviceable engineering assets.

General Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in hardware design, FW development, or validation, preferably in PC, server, or complex embedded systems.
• Understanding of computer architecture, high-speed digital design principles, and power delivery networks.
• Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python, C/C++, Shell scripting) in Linux or Windows Server)
• Experience with test methodologies, test plan creation, and defect tracking systems .
• Experience with FEA / CAD / Simulation related tools (e.g., Cadence/Allegro, SolidWorks, Creo, FloTHERM).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of thermal management considerations in mechanical design.
• Experience with Intel Xeon, AMD EPYC, and NVIDIA GPU.
• Multi language speaking is an advantage.
