Wine Sommelier – Corporate Training, Administration, & Development

Wine Adore for Malaysia (Wine Global Ops) is looking for a skilled Sommelier to act as key role in team development, wine education, and operational excellence. This role is perfect for someone passionate about wine education and eager to elevate both team capabilities and customer experience strategically.

Key Responsibilities

• Wine training for internal team (Conduct short, effective on-site training sessions and wine demonstrations)
• Assisting with wine portfolio curation (profiles, tasting notes, and food pairing best practices)
• Supporting wine education programs & content development
• Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure product understanding aligns with company goals
• Office admin tasks related to wine operations

Requirements

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Based in Johor Bahru or available to work on-site
• 3–5 years of experience in the wine or hospitality industry (Preferably WSET certified)
• Strong Wine knowledge and confident presentation skills
• Experience in training or customer-facing roles in hospitality/wine
• Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working with top management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Johor Bahru: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
