Finance & Accounting Intern

Location: Full time office (Cyberjaya preferred)

Period: Minimum 3 months

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer / Head of Finance

With a mission to democratize digital entrepreneurship and create income opportunities across Malaysia, we are expanding our team and looking for enthusiastic Finance & Accounting Interns to gain real-world experience in startup operations.

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated Finance & Accounting Interns who are eager to learn and support the company's financial operations. You will get hands-on exposure to managing accounts, preparing reports, and assisting in compliance tasks. This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want practical experience in finance and accounting while contributing to a fast-growing digital business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day finance tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.
  • Help with tax filings, SST submissions, and other statutory compliance tasks under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in monitoring company expenses and employee claims.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting exercises alongside the finance team.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for projects, audits, and business initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with accounting software (SQL, Xero, or others) is a plus but not required.
