Responsibilities

Develop and implement production plans and schedules to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.

Oversee the workflow and monitor production processes to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks

Lead, manage, and supervise the production team, providing coaching, training, and performance reviews to drive productivity and maintain product quality.

Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance

Implement and enforce health, safety, and quality control procedures to meet regulatory standards

Collaborate closely with Procurement, QA, QC, R&D, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless production flow and on-time delivery.

Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, food safety, and quality requirements across the production area.

Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity

Develop and maintain effective inventory management practices, ensuring optimal levels of raw materials, packaging items, and finished goods.

Support strategic and operational initiatives to strengthen the company's growth, operational capability, and competitiveness.

Undertake other assignments assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 6 years of production management experience within the FMCG, food & beverage, or industrial environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles.

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and make data-driven decisions.

Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin; knowledge of ERP is an advantage.
